The power of somatic practices in coaching is evident in body/brain science.  Its impact on learning begins with making meaning of our sensations, which is then expressed in words.  During this webinar, we will learn more about:

  1. Experimenting with three somatic practices to support the client by working with the whole person
  2. Sharing current brain/body knowledge with the client and providing an understanding space for the client to practice congruence among the body, emotions, and language
  3. Supporting the client in exploring emotions and ways of moving the body to allow, accept, and release emotions

About the Speaker

 

Carol Harris-Fike is a Personal Leadership Coach and Mentor who supports clients around the world in discovering new directions for their lives.  Carol has helped countless individuals face their mountains, valleys, cliffs, and other questions. Her coaching helps clients move deeper within themselves, towards increased ideas, and past the valley to the next mountain top.

 

Carol’s expertise includes somatic coaching and ontological coaching, and she incorporates cutting-edge brain/body research as well as Reiki and Qi Chong concepts and techniques of Life Force Energy.  She is a Level 1 Certified in the Alba Method of Emoting, the author of 5 Life Energies: The Choice You Have in How Energy Shapes Your Life © 2009, and co-creator of JICT Images: Journey with Intuition & Creativity for Transformation © 2010.

 

Carol is a Program/Mentor Coach and co-owner of the online mentoring program Coach Deep.  She is affiliated with Newfield Network where she serves as a Coach Coordinator, Certification Assessment Team Member, liaison to ICF and to ACTO where she is currently Board Secretary.
