ICF Houston is excited to present a conversation with three Master Coaches who were founding members of the ICF. In this engaging panel, learn about their contributions to the practice of coaching through thought leadership, establishing coach training organizations, and broadening the reach of coaching. Come away with a deep understanding of coaching’s founding principles and the possibilities for coaching’s future.

Jay Perry, MCAC
Since 1979, Jay Perry, Master Certified ADHD Coach, has coached executives on five continents and led workshops for thousands of people around the world on topics as diverse as business planning, leadership, transformational change, coaching skills, communication, and career planning. In the corporate arena, he has developed and led Coach Training Programs for three Fortune 500 companies. He specializes in coaching senior executives to advance their careers, think creatively, and keep their priorities straight. He has also mentored and trained several hundred coaches, including many leaders in the field.
In 1991, Jay began working with legendary coach Thomas Leonard and participated in the creation of Coach University. He was also one of the founders of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and served on its Board of Directors for four years.
His professional experience includes ownership of a New York theater, running an interactive computer company, and, for 12 years, presiding as president of AIP, Inc., a training and consulting company in New York and Los Angeles.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University. The International Coach Federation has granted him the credential of Master Certified Coach.
Bobette Reeder, MCC
Bobette Reeder has been a professional Coach since 1995 and is among the first twenty Coaches in the world to receive the distinction of ICF Master Certified Coach. She also holds a Master's Degree in Communications Disorders. She is a Certified Mentor Coach and Coach U Certified Master Coach. Bobette's coaching voice has been heard by hundreds of clients across the USA and around the world.
Bobette has served as the Global ICF President. She is Co-founder/producer of Conversation Among Masters, the first invitation-only event for Master-level Coaches; and CAMalot, a unique event for high-level interaction and creation among the world's top Coaches.
She is most proud of co-founding The Coach Initiative, a non-profit providing pro-bono Coaching to leaders of non-profits worldwide.
Bobette has been married for 49 years (Yes!...happily and to the same wonderful man!).
She has two married children, five grandbabies, and Murphy the (rescued) Wonder Dog!
Dr. Pat Williams, MCC, BCC
As a coach for 4 decades Pat is a founding member of the ICF, and is an inaugural member of its Circle of Distinction, a Master Certified Coach, a Board-Certified Coach, and member of Forbes Coaching Council.
As an educator, he was a founding member of Harvard University’s Institute of Coaching, has taught graduate students at several notable institutions and served as a curriculum consultant for the Coaching Certificate program at Fielding International University, and was named Educator of the Year by the New England Educational Institute (2008).
Dr. Williams is also Past President of ACTO (Association of Coach Training Organizations), ICF board member and Honorary VP of the International Society for Coaching Psychology. Author of 7 books, all on Amazon and Audiobooks
